Dr. Pickett is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher with a Doctorate Degree in Leadership and Administration, k-12 School Principal Certification, Master's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary English Education. She has over 20 years of classroom experience and 10 years of experience as an Instructional Team Leader.
She created L Education Consulting after experiencing and bouncing back from teacher burnout to share practical teacher ideas and help other educators to build long lasting happy careers. She is passionate about teacher self-care and creating productive educational spaces for students.
